At Santy Labradors, our journey began more than 10 years ago with a simple dream—to raise exceptional English Labrador Retrievers that would become cherished members of their families. What started as a passion has grown into a breeding program built on purpose, integrity, and an unwavering love for the Labrador Retriever.

Pedro's love for animals began long before Santy Labradors. Growing up, he was always surrounded by horses and dogs, and they quickly became a central part of his life. They taught him responsibility, patience, and the incredible bond that exists between people and animals.

That passion became even more meaningful after my parents passed away and after we lost our very first Labrador, Niki. During one of the most difficult seasons of my life, our girl Bella showed me just how extraordinary a Labrador Retriever can be. Her loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love reminded me that these dogs are so much more than pets—they are family, faithful partners, and constant sources of comfort. Bella inspired the vision that Santy Labradors is built upon today.

Our dogs are first and foremost members of our family. They spend their days doing what Labradors love most—playing together, swimming in the pond, riding in the car, and joining us on afternoon walks. We believe these everyday experiences help shape the wonderful temperaments that make the Labrador Retriever one of the most beloved breeds in the world.

We genuinely love every puppy we raise and every adult dog in our program. From the day they are born until the day they leave for their forever homes, each puppy receives individual attention, socialization, and the love they deserve. Watching our puppies become part of families across the country is one of the greatest joys of what we do.

Our Philosophy

In every litter we produce, our goal is consistency. Each puppy is bred with the same intention, care, and commitment to quality. We do not breed for quantity, nor do we create distinctions within a litter based on perceived hierarchy. Every puppy represents the same foundation, the same vision, and the same standard we hold for our breeding program.

From each litter, we thoughtfully select one puppy to remain as part of our breeding program. This decision is made with great care and long-term purpose as we continue to preserve and strengthen the qualities we value most in the English Labrador Retriever.

This puppy—often referred to as our "keeper"—is never chosen for sale. It is retained not for profit, but for the future of our breeding program and our ongoing commitment to preserving the breed's outstanding temperament, structure, health, and purpose.

Our focus has never been driven by financial gain. Instead, it is guided by a genuine responsibility to contribute positively to the Labrador Retriever. We are committed to preserving the breed's integrity while producing dogs that excel as loving family companions and beautiful representatives of the English Labrador.

For this reason, our pricing reflects fairness rather than excess. We believe quality is not determined by an inflated price, but by the dedication, health testing, careful planning, and lifelong commitment behind every litter we produce. Our goal is to place each puppy in a home that will love and cherish them for a lifetime.
